- The Penn Traffic Company announced a third quarter net loss of $5.7 million, compared to a net loss of $27.0 million in the prior year's third quarter. Revenues for the third quarter of Fiscal 2003 were $580.1 million, a decrease of approximately 3.1 percent from $598.6 million in the prior year. Same store sales for the third quarter decreased 2.4 percent from the comparable prior year period.
