The Omaha World-Herald reports that Albertsons is combining most of its Albertsons supermarkets and Osco drug stores in that market.
The company is spending about $30 million in Omaha to bring the formats together under a single roof.

- This seems to make sense from a competitive point of view, as well from an efficiency perspective. And, quite frankly, anytime a retailer can break down walls, as opposed to erecting silos, we generally think it is a good idea.
