- Fleming announced that two of its retail executives, Keith Durham and Tim Otte, have left the company. The reason: Fleming is getting out of retail. Company spokesman Shane Boyd would not comment on how many other positions might be eliminated, according to press reports.
- Kraft Foods North America (KFNA) appointed Kevin R. Scott to be Senior Vice President, Strategy.
Scott succeeds David G. Owens, who recently was named to the new position of Senior Vice President, Strategy, Kraft Foods Inc.
Scott most recently has been Executive Vice President, Strategy, KFNA, focused on internal and external development activities.
