D’Agostino Supermarkets in the New York area has announced that it will begin selling irradiated meat that is processed using the same technology as Wegmans and Lowes Foods.
The process uses electron beam technology to safely eliminate dangerous bacteria without compromising taste, texture or nutritional value. The ground beef is available in several case-ready product offerings.
